Comments Thread For: Lemieux: I Saw What I Needed To Know in Golovkin's Eyes

David Lemieux has promised to make history when he steps in the ring at Madison Square Garden on October 17th, and faces Gennady Golovkin in middleweight unification for the WBA/IBO/IBF world titles.

Lemieux (34-2, 31 KOs) is very confident as he continues his training camp and says he saw something that he liked when he went face to face with the unbeaten champion and looked into his eyes.

Lemieux is trying too hard. Every couple of days, he comes out with something new to say about how he is not afraid or how he knows he can win and now that he saw something in GGG's eyes almost a month after their news conferences. People who talk too much are nervous. Lemieux is nervous.

Lemieux will be seeing stars before the third round is over. The question will be whether or not he can get back up and continue or whether he will curl up and end it there and then.
