Danny Garcia (31-0, 18KOs) would love to get his hands on Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs) for a second showdown.

They fought in 2012 in a junior welterweight unification, with Garcia making a statement with a fourth round knockout win. Khan went down three times in the fight after getting off to a successful start.

Now both fighters are competing in the welterweight division and looking for big money bouts.

I hope it happens. I like Khan but he needs to stop avoiding fights to chase the big names. Fight the guys in front of you and beat them so you actually have a better chance of landing the big names.

honestly though the fight makes perfect sense for both fighters. a lot see the win for garcia as a lucky fluke that propelled him even tho he beat matysee and u got khan who been chasing manny and mayweather around like a stripper chases money and taking safe fight after safe fight. some might not see algeiri as a safe fight but lets be real here he was the safest of the "big fights". khan has yet to face any kind of puncher since garcia if im not mistaken

the problem is. khan absolutely does'nt want it. he's a big mouth coward. because he won't fight brook neither he has forced kell to fight mandatories and get criticize for fights that does nothing for his career.khan also won't fight thurman,porter,maidana or whoever is relevant.
