Don't ask me why, but I actually watched this fight. Floyd beat the sht out of Berto in this fight. This fight was nothing like the Pacquiao fight. Floyd did nothing on offense against Pac..he was scared to take any chances in the Pacquiao fight and just jabbed in the air and into Manny's gloves..occasionally landing one shot at a time while hugging and backing up most of the night..hence why I and many others had Manny winning...

Floyd hit Berto over and over again while Berto covered up for a lot of the fight... If Floyd fought the way he fought against Berto against Pac..Pac would have landed a lot of flush shots on Floyd...

I still think Floyd is juicing though...I mean Canelo walked through Kirkland and other bigger supposedly harder-hitting guys but was hesitant to come in on Lil Floyd same with Berto... same with De La Hoya who is known for his chin...same with Mosley..etc..

Floyd's body has way more muscle mass than it did in the Castillo fight... he's gone up in weight and has gained huge muscles and now never hurts his hands while back then he always hurt his hands...PEDs help an athlete recover more quickly...obviously we know Floyd numbs himself with the numbing agents for his hands which will numb him to punches as NSAC let us know when they didn't let Pac get his shot... Floyd obviously gets special privilege in Nevada especially when he has NSAC sit with him at press conferences...

But anyway... Floyd beat Berto..he didn't run in this fight..Berto was scared and fought like Clottey...

And each of those fighters did their HIGHEST numbers with Floyd's star power lol even Rhonda..

idiotic logic. The economics involved is why this was a flop. When you foolishly pay Mayweather 34 mil and Berto 4 mil for a garbage mismatch fight you need over 1mil in PPV buys to even break even. The entire fight card for the GGG will be a fraction of what they just paid for Mayweather alone. GGG realistically only needs 200-300K PPV buys for it to be a success and make HBO money instead of lose countless millions like this fight did for Showtime. Thus why this is rightfully being labeled a flop.

Those guys could barely sell 400,000 buys when they were up against a no name opponent. People forget the ppv model was set up to sell superfights or fights between TWO stars. It doesn't work as well if only one guy is the star.

400k is a failure no matter how you slice it. Ronda Rousey sold 1 million on her last fight

Pretty sure Lil' G isn't getting $32 mil guaranteed and Berto got $4 mil? LOL Maidana got 1.5 and 3 mil...

Haymon is basically raping CBS/Showtime..Espinoza is a willing **** victim though

Algieri was coming off a big win while Berto is not. Both fights had the same level of promotion, virtually very little outside of 24/7 or All Access.
And Floyd vs Berto still outsold the Algieri fight by 200,000.
Love how you are assuming the high end to slant your argument leaving out that the most recent projections say no way it gets that much more likely only 400k. The later the projections the more accurate they are. So first people were saying 500K if he's lucky now later in the week they saying 400K by next week this shyt might be in the 300's. lol

How am I being a fan? I'm defending Floyd here against Berto's BS statements. Berto is full of chit. Floyd beat the chit out of Berto every round. I actually am more suspect of these Vegas judges after seeing the scores of this fight. Floyd won every round clearly. I don't think Vegas judges even watch the fights. They just glance here and there and make sure they have Floyd winning at the end no matter what happens.

Berto didn't even win a round because he fought like a coward while Floyd actually was bringing the fight to him..although Floyd boxed he didn't run...Floyd was the aggressor while Berto covered up most of the fight...

And Berto's comments are dumb because people buy the fight before it happens... anyway...
