Although Berto is an exciting fighter with power, speed & skill, he looked very vulnerable in 3 of his 4 losses, suffering much damage (the fight with Floyd being the exception, LOL). This is one reason the fight with Floyd drew few PPVs. Another reason is because people have seen Floyd figure out how to win in his previous 48 fights & expected much of the same against Berto. The final, and possibly most important reason of all, is because people are pissed off @ paying record prices to see Mayweather vs Pacquiao, the biggest fight in history-Only to see it unfold to be a big, stinking pile of shit. Many people have had enough of Mr. Mayweather, and no longer wish to spend a mint to watch his un-entertaining style of mild fisticuffs.

A few days ago it was between 550-600K PPV numbers and now it's 400-550K LOL...

That means in reality Pac v. Algieri PPVs > May-Berto..

TBE= The Berto Enhancer! Floyd will be forever remembered for this last fight, which resumes his career; Just enough. He would have been perfect for a goverment job... or Hardware store.... How about some giving us a thrill Floyd? For all the money you are receiving? "Hmmm. NO. Not my department".

I'm gonna go with 450. I think UFC fighters like Ronda and McGregor will double those weak ass numbers in Nov and Dec. Floyd can't sell without the other fighters star power. Nelo and Pac helped his ppv numbers tremendously.

                Two Points

1st. The 95% of the 500k views were Mayweather fans (No one knows Berto). Boxing Fans needs their to be a chance the opponent can pull the upset. The fight should have been of CBS for free (they dropped the ball). That's why the 2nd Maidana fight was popular because thought he had a chance because of what happened in the 1st fight.

2nd. The PPV numbers are low but still higher than Pacmans last 5 PPV (except for the Bradley rematch). 500k PPV buys ($65 and $75) equals $35-million in PPV revenue before you add anything else up (gate, closed-circuit, advertisements, etc). Revenue MINUS Mayweather's $32-million guarantee and Berto's $4-million Flat-rate EQUALS "A Profit"

They helped his numbers but not their own PPV numbers when fighting other opponents. Okay, gotcha this makes a lot of sense..

A fight held in China at that with very little promotion here in the states.
Your math is way off. PAc vs Algieri only did 350 K ppv buys while Floyd vs Berto is expected to do 550 K ppv buys. Algieri was world champion while Berto is currently not. Algieri was coming off a big win while Berto is not. Both fights had the same level of promotion, virtually very little outside of 24/7 or All Access.
And Floyd vs Berto still outsold the Algieri fight by 200,000.
