Banner Promotions reps Provodnikov and they aren't on good terms with Top Rank right now and they just left HBO for Showtime.
A deal for a Pacquiao fight would probably get Mikey back, but I think too much time has passed and too much damage done. Garcia would certainly need a tune up and no doubt that Pacquiao is thinking strictly short term.Comment

Manny should retire, he doesn't even want to fight, he's too busy playing pretend congressman.... one day he'll realize he only has that position while he fights and the people will relegate him to a bench warmer role once he's retired from the sport.Comment

Indeed he does. Mikey has been on the shelf too long. Another wasted talent entangled in a lawsuit against his promoterBanner Promotions reps Provodnikov and they aren't on good terms with Top Rank right now and they just left HBO for Showtime.

I can't tell if those kudos are sarcastic because I personally would not watch that fight free or not. I understood Pac/Rios 1 - but if there was any time Rios could have picked where he could win it was the time he picked. And still, he was shutout. I'd have absolutely no reason to think that a rematch would have any significance or chance of being competitive whatsoever. I'd feel too insulted to watch it.If he makes it Manny's return fight and puts it on HBO then he doesn't have to.
IMO its all about getting fans back on your side. Floyd didn't do this with Berto when he could've.
If Bob does, kudos to him because I think fans would appreciate not having to pay for a Manny fight.
But then again, I said I would probably not watch Mayweather-Berto and I ended up streaming it.
None of these three fights are going to happen.

Pacquiao is really a 135 pound fighter or 140 at this stage of his career. The fact that he's campaign at 147 to find challenges is commendable. It's like Floyd campaigning at middleweight and taking on GGG. When Dela Hoya was the PPV king of boxing, he fought everybody, even went up to middleweight to fight a prime Hopkins.Comment

Lol Pacquiao had one fight at Jr. Middleweight at a 150 lb catchweight and he weighed in at 144 1/2 lbs. Floyd, on the other hand, was ranked #1 at Jr. Middleweight, had a couple of belts at that weight class, and had fought twice there without needing a catchweight. GGG called Floyd out on more than one occasion, but instead of taking the fight he cherry picked Berto.
