Any fans willing to travel around the world to see their fan favourite fighter are the real saviours to boxing but kudos to those who just go to event to event I know its not logical to go to every fight abroad because its expensive duh...
But you get the point some guys have excellent fans and others well I doubt Ward would have fans travelling over to Britain to see him fight Carl Froch but perhaps people would travel abroad just to see the International superstar who single handily sold 80 thousand tickets at Wembley when he fought George Groves in a rematch.

Well you compare the atmosphere of an all Mexican affair compared to say something like American Vs American, I think there is a noticeable difference.

Mexicans are rowdy just like the Puerto Ricans, very vocal and show good support in the arena but when it comes to making noise perhaps the Brits and Irish might be the best for that.

Yeah pretty much.

They make up such a huge demographic of the boxing fans in North and South America (and Central).

Especially USA - HUGE portion.

It'd survive in Europe all the same, Mexican fans withstanding, doe. Asia as well.
