First of all, you are comparing apples with oranges. You do NOT need to be a doctor to understand dehydration. You do not even need to be an athlete to understand it ...... but I get it, you are just trying to protect your hero Floyd.
If you are an experienced athlete who does lots of running or cycling, for example, you would know about dehydration and experienced dehydration in one form or another.
We are not telling you that we were there and diagnosed Floyd. We are telling you that Floyd was not dehydrated to the point that an IV was necessary because of the circumstances. Get it? Yes, on top of that, visually, we saw lots of signs that indicated that was not possible either.
What is dehydration? Its a simple formula. Its when fluid losses exceed fluid intake. With that in mind and knowing that the date that this occurred was May 1st, it just does not add up!
- On May 1st, Floyd was not doing any kind of strenuous exercises to warrant dehydration.
- On May 1st, Floyd weighed in at 146. Floyd and Ellerbe admitted that he made weight easily, like usual.
- On May 1st, yes visually, there were no signs of being drained or ill. Floyd fans said he looks ready. Floyd said himself that he is prepared, did whatever it took to and be ready.
- On May 1st, yes visually, we saw Floyd drinking and often.
- On May 1st, yes visually, we saw Floyd stick around and do plenty of interviews. Even drinking fluids during!
- On May 1st, yes visually, we didn't see Floyd being rushed out after the weigh in. Hmmm, I thought this dehydration was an emergency? I guess promoting the fight was more important than an emergency? lol!
- On May 1st, it was about 10 days that Floyd gave no blood. Remove that from the equation.
- On May 1st, one can say that Floyd had tapered down his workouts that last week.
- Floyd is an experienced gym rat who knows his body well and everyone says, prepares well for the fight. Yet this time, Floyd was not doing that? Again, this is May 1st not April XX where Floyd was doing strenuous workouts! lol!
- Did Floyd declare he had a problem on his pre-fight questionnaire? No! Funny that all this is being overlooked FOR FLOYD!!!! How convenient!
- Did Floyd let the NSAC know that FLoyd would be at risk if FLoyd fought without the injection (IV)? No! Funny that all this is being overlooked FOR FLOYD!!!! How convenient!

To say what I said that I do should have been enough but I realize that even if I said that I was a pro cyclist, boxer or train with them or that I am a doctor or train with them and that we experienced and discussed this topic, you would still say something to just protect your hero Floyd.
Finally, you bring up doctor.
Last time I checked, when Floyd had the IV done, USADA didn't have their own qualified doctor either since all they do is test. The NSAC didn't either because they were not notified until after the fight.
For Manny, there was a doctor present but NSAC said that they wanted their own doctor's opinion.
