The country obviously made a difference otherwise Pacquiao-Bradley wouldn't have registered at 800k in comparison to the Algieri and Rios fights @ around 400k.

Most would be inclined to say Ward is the new P4P#1, i disagree. Hes not active and his opposition level has drop tremendously. All the goodfighters hes beaten are no longer active and theres a new crop of top guys at smw which Ward has yet to reassert himself over. Ihavent made a p4p list but if i was to now, i would no doubt have Klitchsko as the new p4p#1 in the sport...my reasoning is when you look at the sport and take into account that in just about every division, the top guys are NOT fighting each other. With thay mind, Klitchsko has consistently fought top opposition at HW for quite some time, with him fighting his mandatories and the best available fighters, i say he has the best case.

I think the number one way to attract a U.S. following is to actually fight on U.S. soil, something many don't feel compelled to do. When the majority of one's competition is international, it isn't a requirement to fight here.

Yep, Wards win over Paul Smith reasserted his dominance over the sport(sarcasm). Wards not even a factor in his own division hasnt been since...hmm. Theres a new crop of SMWs who Ward has yet to face.

This "era" was orchestrated by a great defensive fighter who never fought an elite opponent in his prime.
Hopefully a Mayweather age never takes root again, although Keith Thurman is obviously being groomed to satisfy such a riskless blueprint.

The PED King's era is over. Let it be a lesson, fight CLEAN. This dolt has zero legacy because of PEDs he's probably taken before several fights. He just got caught... FINALLY.

Beyond that, I think Pacquiao is still a bigger draw
than Canelo in the US. Canelo fought on regular HBO last time out and I expect Pacquiao to be back on PPV against Crawford soon enough.
When did Pac ever fight who " we " wanted ?

He has been fighting made-to-order inhouse opponents for years.
