marg is not the best name on cotto resume mosley and Martinez are and cotto fought better fighters then Floyd and fought them in there prime Floyd is great don't get me wrong but he was a very smart business man he retired when all the top welters were fighting each other he fought fighters when already faded and fought smaller fighters like ricky hatton cotto gave the fans the fights they wanted to see and didn't duck anyone he fought the toughest fighters coming up

WOW!!! Canelo was like 19-20 years old fighing a CROWN man who had a record of 32-2 with most by KO?? Last I looked Cotto had to get SAVED by a ref!

Now kid keep up with the times and you'll see Cotto end up like Kirkland who hits a HELL of a lot harder than 4' 2" Cotto does. Heck Floyd could of KO'd Cotto and he NEVER does that!!! Go back and watch the 12 round of that fight. I don't know why Floyd stopped???

The team behind Mexican superstar Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (45-1-1, 32KOs) have responded to the harsh words that came from WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto (40-4, 33KOs) of Puerto Rico.

Cotto raised the temperature by firing back at statements that were made by Canelo and his trainers Eddy Reynoso and Jose "Chepo" Reynoso.

The HBO Pay-Per-View fight between Cotto and Canelo takes place on November 21 in the Events Center Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas.

What are you saying? Wasn't it his trainers whom ran their mouth and not Canelo? how exactly was Canelo humiliated? From my understanding Canelo didnt start bull and has remained professional from the get go, even to the point of expressing his respect towards Cotto in several interviews. If anything the bad blood is between Cotto and Canelo's camp.

Correct me if Iam wrong, but did not Roach started everything, when he said that Canelo is "Lazy".

Canelo and his team have to win this fight. Not for Mexico but for Canelos career,forget the rivalry, forget Cotto even, because Cotto has already marked his legacy in the sport, Mexico as well as Puerto Rico have produced many great fighters and legends to this sport, but little young cinnamon hasn't done anything major in this sport, if anything he should be honored to be in the ring with Cotto, now he just better try to win, cause if he doesn't he becomes ordinary
