Was Tszyu-Judah stopped too early? Should the ref have let Zab continue fighting?

You knew the stoppage was good when Zab Judah STILL couldn't stand on his own to protest to Jay Nady and for a moment the only thing keeping his quivering knees from buckling yet again was Nady holding him up.
The comparison to Berbick/Tyson seems silly because I would have had no problem with the ref stopping that one sooner either.
EDIT: In seeing this again, I'm remembering just how bad a decision it was to get up immediately. The bell would have rung during the count and he'd be able to follow that up with a minute on the stool to possibly return to his senses.Last edited by BrometheusBob.; 09-17-2015, 03:56 AM.

I always thought the ref stopped it too soon.
Judah had to take some of the blame because he tried to get right back up instead of taking a few seconds gather his senses. I think it's that pride with boxers sometimes that get KD and try to get jump right back to show their not hurt
But I never really liked that stoppage

Stoppage was premature imo, he should've counted the whole 8 and then asked him if he can continue, once zab fell the second time the ref stopped it very early, also the round was over so he wasn't in danger if his legs were a bit wobbly, ref should've counted to 8.
What I can't recall though is why a rematch never happened? Thqt would've been huge!
