I wouldn't consider it ducking. He just genuinely feels like Spence needs to do more in order to get a fight with him. Basically what has Spence done to be on the same level at the moment as Thurman, Peterson, Khan, Brook, Porter or Garcia? It's just a step backwards for Thurman & Spence needs to move up & fight boxers of the caliber of Karass, Lopez, Ortiz, & Berto first before he should be able to fight the elite welterweights.

Thurman really should have took that Errol Spence offer the TMT camp put up on offer, It would have made for a good mesh up of styles and I wonder who would be on the backfoot in this one I get the feeling it would be Thurman.
