A Ward fan you had to be...

He's as tall as Cotto, who fights at MW now... why wouldn't him be able to fight at 140/147?

Pacquiao also has short arms and same height than Lomachenko. Pacquiao moved up until 154, why can't Loma move up too? Remember Pacquiao had loses before too...

What is your logic? you have none! I hate this kind of guys. Reason man, reason. You're a human, not a mosquito.

i can see him at most 130.
      135 is way too much.
he has a small frame and is already filled up :/. unfortunate

look at their frame difference and look at the size of their muscles..... if loma went to 140 he'd look like a power lifter lmao

He is too small, 135 is maximum.
Also Lomachenko is comfortable at 126 now and has no reason to move up.

Only if he has a death wish.

147 probably not, but don't be surprised if Loma gives it a go at 140. He actually fought a tournament as an amateur at 141 pounds and he easily defeated Olympic Silver Medalist, Denys Berinchyk at the tournament (it looked like they didn't take the fight serious though).
If you saw the pics for the Bradley vs Rios conference, Loma was as tall as Rios, so he's not super short. It's not so much his height, but his reach that will hurt him while moving up (I don't think his reach is as short as they make out to be though). Another thing that will be an issue are his hand problems. He's had problems for years, even won the 2012 Olympics with a messed up hand if I'm not mistaken.
Loma just needs to learn how to fight pressure fighters, as he moves up more and more will pressure him. I still don't understand why they didn't just give him Gradovich instead of Koa****, I doubt Grado ever wins another world title he's just going to be good work for others. Grado is a volume-pressure fighter that would've been great work and experience for Loma.
135 is a definite imo, though. I can't wait for him and Luke Campbell to meet, both Olympic Gold Medalist.

Hopefully this is first Lomachenko we see in the world of boxing. I'm not sure if Loma will allow his son to pursue boxing, but I have seen pics of him training alongside Loma.
Maybe it's just to keep him entertained and Loma won't allow him to actually do fight, which is understandable. If they do allow him though, he'll have TWO advantages. First, his father who has experience as an amateur and pro. Second, his Grandfather (Anatoly) who is a genius trainer imo.
Boxing is a rough sport, so I doubt they'll allow him to do it, but all I'm saying is the possibility is there lol .

hmm... i thought 135 would already be pushin it... but what the heck, he looked huge (for a 126) when he stood next to rios/bradley (almost same height).
but then he does have much narrower shoulders it seems (small ass frame)

The kid obviously has ambition. He is just in a tough spot right now. Haymon has completely blocked him out of big fights. This is one of the reason why top rank, golden boy etc are suing Haymon...they are having a hard time getting many of their fighters dates with quality opponents.

I think he can go as far as 135, that's it. Even that's a stretch.

considering he walks around not to far from 140 it could happen he would have to hit the weight room and there would have to be absolutely no one to fight 135 and under.
