    a gimmie then. one. singular.

    he fought bradley, algieri, mayweather.

the gimmie was a top 140 fighter who beat prov and gave khan all he can handle.

    pretty damn good.
Algieri was a top fighter because he beat Provodnikov. If you insist.

Stop being so quick to attack, and you know, READ and COMPREHEND the post before you reply :/

The only point of my original comment was that Manny has not been fighting guys both young and elite. In his last 10 fights (dating back to 2010), the only young elite fighter that comes up is Timothy Bradley.
Bradley is the only young elite guy recently dude. Brook fought his first and only top 10 opponent a year ago. Thurman's best scalp is fringe Guerrero 6 months ago. There's nobody that even sniffed the p4p lists other than Bradley

So we both agree that Manny hasn't been fighting young elite guys. That was the only point I was trying to make. Don't understand why everyone is in attack mode lol

Algieri was the gimme, which is not too bad. Maybe better than Guerrero, and for sure better than Berto

Definitely, but not better than Alvarez or Maidana.

EDIT: Never mind this post. I wasn't trying to start a Mayweather/Pacquiao war. I got my original point across. And that's all I was trying to do. As you've stated, there are no young, prime guys hanging around 147, so it's impossible for Pacquiao to have been fighting them. All I wanted to do was set that record straight with Pac-Boy. This isn't a Mayweather thread, so let's not bring him into it.

Because there was one young elite guy around, and he fought him 2x. So he's fought every young elite fighter 2x

ring mag writers thought so too. they put algieri in their TOP 5-10.

Sure. Though hard to tell where Maidana fits, he's lost to Khan and got shut out by Devon not that long ago. But point proven, for PACs one gimme Algieri not too bad

The word I should have used is "elite" but never mind. I see a lot of top guys that aren't elite. Hell, Keith Thurman is a "top guy" and I don't see an ounce of elite on him :/
