I think it's a possibility. He's shown no vulnerability so far and while his opponents aren't ATG's, they are top, championship level fighters and would be a handful in any era. The fact that GGG is just destroying these guys shows that it's only a small step up to that next level and I don't think he'd have any trouble against someone like Hagler. Maybe he wouldn't knock him out, but if someone could it'd be GGG.
He should be the guy called Hands of Stone, not Duran. Duran couldn't even stop a guy like Viruet, who Rosario knocked spark out! GGG has been blasting guys of that level out with ease. More impressive though is that he outboxed some good boxers too. So even if he fought a guy that was an ATG boxer at 160, he wouldn't have any trouble getting up on his toes and being ultra fleet footed, until he needed to cut te ring off, then he could sit down on his shots and get them out of there.
Hopkins doesn't have the power to beat him, Hagler is too small and is basically just a really good brawler so wouldn't win. Monzon would probably have the best chance, but GGG has evolved too much for someone that fought in the 60's and 70's. He's too strong, too smart, too skilled and too powerful. If Valdez put Monzon on his ass, then GGG would keep him there. He's like Bennie Briscoe x 10. Robinson lost like 5 times at 160 against much lesser fighters than GGG, so I don't see how Robinson possibly beats someone that knows all the techniques of that era, plus all the rest that have been learnt since. Just too big, too strong, too gggood (get it? Yeah!).Comment

IIRC martin murray was able to pick some shots off GGG and i cant help but think that a more talented fighter would be able to inflict more punishment on GGG while also avoiding more damage.
id like to see kid chocolate against GGG because it always seems like the best is brought out in peter when he is put under pressurea, but unfortunately he has been making ****ty decisions lately with his career.Comment

You guys are just haters. If you don't agree with my opinion that he's TBE at 160, you're just haters.
Undoubtedly. Not just the last 15 years either. When you go back more than 15, maybe 20 years the fighters start to devolve into lesser boxers, with less strength, less size, less power, less speed, and less skills.
The best way to think of it is like this; GGG has gathered all the skills and information that all fighters and trainers have developed, let's just say from 1900 onward, and so that way, of course he is better than someone from 1970. You've got 40 years of extra knowledge from 1970 to now, which GGG has developed.
He's basically a combination of the best parts of Robinson, Monzon, Hagler and Hopkins.

You think little g beats Hopkins & Hagler? Based on what? That long list of elite boxers and murderous punchers on little gs resume?
