Is Amir Khan the only humanitarian in boxing? Does this make him the true champ?

It seems like Khan is always spending time and money helping out the poor and refugees.

Recently he has been on a multi million pound drive to send relief to Syrian refugees. Of course, this would not be covered here.

The likes of Floyd like to boast about how selfish he is, and most other boxers. Who don't do anything.

Seems like Khan is the only good person, good lad, in all of boxing. His humanitarian efforts tell me he is real champ of boxing.

Yeah I've also read recently that he's spending some time & effort into helping refugees. Let's also hope a bit of his own money went towards the cause, he can afford it.

Fantastic point made by OP. Also, now that mayweather is retired, Khan is perfectly positioned to be the labelled the best fighter in the welterweight division, and should be on everyone's p4p list.

ugh, all these limeys. cotto puts people to work in PR with all his gas stations and gives a lot for medical advancements towards breast cancer. paq is in a group trying to erect a hospital in the PI. floyd and jalen rose do big things for the inner city youth of detroit. bam bam does a lot of volunteer work with kids. the list is incredibly stacked of sports philanthropists.
