and about Floyd's 147 power...

why do people keep bringing up what has been obvious for 10 years? Floyd is not a power puncher..sure he can throw clean, accurate and hard shots...but that is NOT his game

tonight he was not throwing with ANY intention of taking Judah's head off

he is too smart for that...he knew that he would get countered if he tried to throw telegraphed power punches vs Judah was was defensive...Floyd's obvious intention was to just get fluid lead hands on Judah because Judah was slipping away and looking to counter...

he is too skill to even need to put effort behind every punch...

has Floyd ever claimed to be the second coming of Foreman?...no

If u guyz saw the whole fight then you will know what im talking about : . lets look at how many times PBF was hurt :


1. Round 2 = Clear Knockdown, floyd was hit by a left and he was seriously hurt(his glove also touched the canvas)

ROund 4 = Straight left landed right on chin and floyd was clearly hurt and he was really hurt badly. judah went for the kill but floyd grabbed him so referee broke them apart.


anyway point of this thread is that floyd does NOT have a GRANITE chin as often claimed by his fans. If he HAD granite chin then he would not have been knocked down by judah and he should also not have reacted as badly as he did in 4th round . I know alot of this ppls will just ignore this valid argument but what im saying is very valid. I have seen judah-baldo like 4/5 times and one thing i gotta tell u is that badlo was never hurt by judah even when judah landed some very flush shots. secondly floyd also couldnt hurt glass jaw judah which baldo easily managede to do. SO final conclusion =


Floyd's Power at 147 is not much cos he couldnt even hurt a glass jaw boxer like judah(a boxer whoes even been knocked down by a feather fisted boxer like cory spinks)


Secondly floyd's chin is lil bit questionable , i wouldnt say that its bad but it hasnt been checked properly and today he reacted badly when those flash punches from judah landed. a better puncher like margarito could mayb take advantage of this and remember the only reason why judah didnt land anymore flush punches was because he did NOT throw many. his work rate was appalling and margarito thou mayb little slower than zab but his work rate is good and he will definetly land more shots on mayweather which could make things interesting because i have a feeling that mayweather is going to get knocked out. and remember he did get knocked down today.

Exactly...and in terms of speed...Judah is the closest anyone at 140 or 147 will ever get to Floyd...Margarito is one of the slowest and most telegraphing fighters I have ever seen...Hatton is active, but not nearly as fast...Mosley has slowed down A LOT...Cotto is not fast either...

DLH is probably the next best...

I thought everyone knew and was comfortable with Floyd UD's by now?...That is like the norm in a PBF fight....When he fights low caliber guys he is getting a TKO when it is tough high class AAA opponent it is a clear victory via UD....Thats what I have came to expect.

This board is full of haters...Everybody knows floyd has a hard time against southpaws...But like the true champ he is, he adjusted and won convincingly in the eyes of the judges..Now I hear, "oh I know floyd can't handle hatton" Get the **** out of here, Floyd will beat the **** out of hatton like he did gatti and everyone else he has fought...
