Ward is arrogant? The guy is very nice, humble, religious, and well spoken. Arrogance is the guy you root for saying he can beat everybody from 154-168.

Andre Ward has an ideal combination of a boring style and arrogance.

I've talked to Andre twice. Seems like a nice guy, actually took a few minutes out to say hello. He does come off as smug sometimes on tv and online.

But, let's be real, he does not have that personality to really sell a fight like Floyd.

The people who actually appreciate the super defensive style of Floyd are already fans of his.

The people who loved his anti-social behavior and his WWE heel perosona won't root for a nice guy like Ward, except for when he fights someone they don't like.

Ward may become the best boxer alive (he may be the best boxer alive) but I really don't think he can ever be a huge draw like Floyd or Manny.
