What next for Mayweather and Zab

Floyd's got the cheap title now. Who should he face next? I know Hattons camp wont face him till 07', and Cotto is tied up, so who does that leave? margarito? Should Zab have to work his way back, or should he get another meaningful fight right away?

It's been said over and over again. Zab Judah is finished.

well I dont see Zab as finished...mainly because he has speed and pop, is a "name", and is not even 30 years old yet...

but as usual...he will never be consistent...another big fight may come...he may win it...he may lose it...

either way, he would have to work hard to make anything major happen for his career...

Floyd is still on track to bigger and better things...maybe even DLH if Hoya beats Mayorga

I actually think Hatton might be well served to fight Judah as a tune up for Mayweather. Yes it is high risk, but if he is serious about beating Mayweather he needs to get used to a fighter with that kind of speed. Given Hatton's extraordinary advantage in stamina in that fight, it is probably safer than some might imagine.

Zab will be known as the most lazy ass fighter ever. Also known for a glass jaw.Seriously, who has he beaten, his only impressive win was that of Spinks although that was 1-1.

Zab's going to have to take a long break when all is said and done...fact is he deliberately hit Floyd on the back of the head and the low blow was likely intentional as well. So nobody will touch him for a long while.

The Margarito fight would be a snap to make if money issues don't get in the way. It's Floyd call, at any rate.

mayweather: fight either hatton, margarito, or stay busy with some guy.

zab: retire or take a LONG vacation.

I guess it all lingers on how DLH looks against Mayorga. Anybody see that article on espn.com? Corley says that Floyd should go up to 160...

floyd is on his way to becoming the face of boxing, npthing but green from here on out.

zab isnt finished like some would want you to believe. he gave the best p4p fighter a hell of a fight. i can see future fights with margarito, cotto, ouma, and even a pbf rematch. he is still a world class fighter and imo what he really needs now is to become a mandatory and beat baldomir.
