He also didn't initiate a clinch after taking that thunderous shot to the body. If it were Floyd on the receiving end of that punch, he would have been holding on for dear life and riding the clock out.

It's funny watching guys that mock it, but then they go out and get dropped, hurt and KTFO in fights. I doubt they mock it much after that.

I remember seeing Donaire doing his version, taking the piss out of Floyd's style, then he goes and gets beaten up and KTFO cause he had no defense.

They'd all do it if they could. Thurman sure as **** needed to duck lower against that journeyman Robertson.

Considering he was close to getting dropped by Collazo and spent an entire round back-pedalling because he got so hurt to the body, probably not the best idea to mock someone else's defense just because that's never happened to them.

Replace "talent" with "Al" and "heart" with "Haymon", then you have the reason he goes far.

And he is irritating. He tries too hard to be smart and it doesn't come off too well.

Actually all I see him do is call out Floyd, "burn money" and the rest of that bollocks.

And for the record I think guys that duck that low should be allowed to be rabbit punched and kidney punched, it's cheap, it's just another illegal nullifier like clinching.

                  Floyd would embarrass Thurman.

Totally agree with this, its as illegal a tactic as anything else. Just because you get stuck in a corner or on the ropes doesn't mean you can duck that low, its against the rules and pretty much glossed over by most people in boxing. Its Floyd's get out of jail free card. Without it he would have been much more hittable throughout his career.

I could be wrong but didn't Floyd duck so low against Berto that he lost his balance and fell forward? lol.
