Comments Thread For: Byrd Could See Pacquiao Doing a Real Number On Khan

Former heavyweight champion Chris Byrd, who now trains boxers, gave his take on the potential fight between former sparring partners Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan.

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum promotes Pacquiao and he's very interested in making the fight in the first quarter of 2016

The two fighters were sparring partners and good friends when they shared Freddie Roach as trainer. Khan left Roach in 2012 and hired Virgil Hunter.

Good fight. I'd watch it. It'll be good for a while until Kahn gets KOed. That crappy chin of his keeps him from winning big fights.

As much as I like Khan, Pacquiao would knock him out.

Khan has the speed and decent power to trouble Pac, but I see Pac landing the straight left and Khan hitting the mat.

I don't see Arum and Haymon working together anytime soon after the lawsuits, so this is a pointless debate. Khan vs. Thurman! Let's make it happen in 2015!

Let's be serious , nothing changes it's Khan v any average light welterweight, don't bother with Khan he's done.

Roach don't want the fight, he keeps going on about Garcia because he knows it's a more favourable matchup for Pac to look good against.
