it lookes like another chaves taylor fight cant wait i think people will pay for this fight if they have 2 more nice fights like marqes vs pacman barera vs chaves latinos make 75 percent of boxing fans and i personally think there standing behind margarito so if mayweather wants to start making real dollars heres his chance cotto waiting on deck and hatton will be the cherry on top cant wait

Mayweather doesn't need to fight Margarito and I really don't think Margarito deserve a shot against him. I think Marg needs to fight someone like Mosely, Gatti, Collazo, Hatton, Urkal, or maybe even Judah. So he can show us that he can beat the big names in the game instead of sub par fighters. Also so he can really be tested cause he has yet to be tested ever in the 147lb division. He is overrated by the people on this site. The man has beaten nobody so try to remember that.

So their it is, this poll says it all, people do know who Margarito is and belive his is a threat to Mayweather.

After seeing Margarito/Lujan earlier today I'm even more confident that Mayweather would absolutely destroy him. I might catch heat for this as well but I think Mayweather is quick enough to stand in front of Margarito and trade without being hit with any thing significant.

Early in that fight Lujan was able to make Margarito miss alot of punches by ducking and slipping even when he was against the ropes. I'm no boxing genius but if the slow Lujan can make Margarito miss and counter then I think the faster quicker Mayweather can do a 100% better job at it.

Its real easy to say who's supposed to win, but once they are in the ring expect Margarito to step up his game. We already seen Mayweather step up his game but never against a bigger and stronger fighter with power in both hands that Margarito carries.

Margarito will not be able to step up his game enough to even make it a close fight. Stylewise Mayweather is the absolute worst fighter for Margarito. Size won't matter if the two fighters are on different levels which Mayweather and Margarito are.

I have seen plenty of Margarito fights and he's always the same way.

He throws slow wide punches and gets hit easily. It never changes. Margarito is a great action fighter and I'm a fan but he's not in the same class as Mayweather and that will show.

If Mayweather ever decided to step up the level of his competition then we will see what Mayweather really is made of. Margarito will brush off Mayweathers punchs and keep coming forward and trap Mayweather and start pounding on hims till he get crushed.
