It's not uncommon for athletes, though it can also be avoided. it's pretty common knowledge that an IV is a quick way to rehydrate your body, we did this all the time in the army.Comment

In many threads, some people (typically his fans) complain that he's still brought up and that being should "stop being salty and move on" yet we're seeing unnecessary bumps in threads like this.Comment

sadly they hate to admit, but he is the best of his generation, an all time great and one of the best of all time
all 29 of the people that labeled him a ducker got most likely got their dreams crushed cuz he defeated their hero, or wanted him to lose so bad...bwahahahahahaha

80% of the people on this site are not or never were athletes or soldiers so they depend on the media for their own take on things and not their own knowledge or experience
I have a little story
My first year wrestling I was at junior welterweight but weighed 133 fully clothed and didn't weigh a solid 140 until state the end of the season, had to bulk up.(Also our captain was at 135 so he was kicking my azz from pillar to post, I had to wrestle naturally bigger guys if I wanted to wrestle varsity and I'd ask them they'd weigh before the season, most of them guys was 160+)
So next season rolls around and im a solid 143 with 7 % body fat beginning of the season. My coach wanted me to go down to lightweight....I missed weight one time that season which was by .2 pounds...they spot you 2 pounds but I damn near died inside trying to make 137
I had to use an IV twice that season before a tournament because of hydration issues....eyes yellow, overtrained, and lips all chapComment
