Comments Thread For: Jacobs on Quillin: One of Biggest Brooklyn Fights Ever

Daniel Jacobs had a ringside seat for the latest ring appearance made by Peter Quillin, who will be his next opponent on December 5 in an all-Brooklyn showdown fittingly to be held at Barclays Center.

Quillin did his part to preserve the fight, which will air live on Showtime. The former middleweight champ scored a frightening 5th round knockout of Australia's Michael Zerafa in their NBC-televised catchweight bout Saturday afternoon at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Conn.

If you're talking like an undercard type fight then yes.

If you compare this to other undercards in the history of Brookly fights then yes, one of the biggest ever.

This is a great fight. But the delusional minds of these 2 fighters just ruins the atmosphere and anticipation.

I'll be in the building for this one. Too bad Peter lost his belt, would have made this one that much bigger.

Decent fight that at one point was a good to great fight. Both guys have gotten somewhat exposed since then.

Both these guys kill themselves to come in at 160lbs, let them fight at 168lbs and we might get a quality fight without serious injury.

It's a pretty big fight, not quite Malignaggi/Juda big though.
