Boxing To Go In Better Direction

With Floyd retiring I think it's great for the sport.

He was a great boxer, but a very negative & disrespectful person.

I think the focus will shift with putting on competitive match-ups (especially at 140-154).

Because without Floyd these promoters have to change their business model or else the whole sport will suffer drastically. A lot of people that are casuals only cared about Floyd. Without Floyd the promoters/
matchmakers need to give the public great fights or soon Boxing will become a thing of the past.

I like that now the whole sport will get to be focused on rather than one guy. And I wouldn't mind if it was that way but Floyd and his die-hard fans are truly ****ed people so if there's a way to see less of that -
    I'm all for it.

    Let's see what happens . .

I don't think so, I think people have been gradually fading off that since the Mosley fight. But you may be right if he has one or two more impressive wins.

Dont forget the glamour division. With marketable, strong heavyweights like Wilder, Joshua, Parker, Fury they'll have to start facing each other over the next couple of years. That'll be huge for the sport imo.
