MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Jonathan Oquendo (26-4, 16KOs) picks up the biggest win of his career with an unexpected ten round majority decision over former world champion Jhonny Gonzalez (58-10, 49KOs). The scores were 94-94, 95-93, 98-90. Both fighters were down in the contest.

Gonzalez, who moved up to super featherweight in search of a new title, now lost two of three fights in 2015. He lost his WBC featherweight crown to Gary Russell Jr. in March.
