Comments Thread For: Mayweather Sr: I'll Say 'One More' if He Looks Great

Las Vegas - Later tonight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, five division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (48-0, 26KOs) will enter the ring for what the fighter claims is the "last time" in his 19-year career.

Mayweather is adamant that he will retire in the aftermath of his WBC/WBA welterweight title defense against Andre Berto. The fight tops a four bout Showtime Pay-Per-View event.

I honestly believe that Floyd jr has injuries preventing him from going on, hence him picking Bertoto finish up his contract.

But I think Berto will give Floyd a hard fight that Floyd may not want to fight again, as even chumps like Berto are giving him hard fights.

Yes, but take a break after Berto for one more. Nobody will have a go at you for saying you would retire and going back on your word, because we know that you really did want to call it a day this time. The fact that you didn't wont annoy people because at least you was sincere. When you said you was retired years ago somewhere near the hatton fight nobody believed you meant it that time though.

Who gives a schit? This PPV is going to be a steaming pile of donkey doo-doo, everyone knows Floyd is a lying cheater, and people are tired of the charade.

See..........now they realize that as soon as Floyd is done and the money stops flowing into Vegas and into boxing, Floyd's stronghold on everyone will be gone and there will be no reason to protect his image anymore. All the dirty truth will spill out and his legacy will be pure garbage.

The only way to keep people quiet is to keep fighting and keep that money flowing into the proper channels.

Exactly what many people are thinking. He's got this stronghold on people when he's still around and fighting. He and Sr know it. The moment he retires all of these influences will be gone. The rest of his life will be spent on explaining his PED usage and the hypocrisy that went with it, where the accuser turned out to be the guilty one.
