Comments Thread For: Thurman: Berto Needs To Catch Mayweather in First Four

Some of the heirs to Floyd Mayweather’s throne believe his title defence against Andre Berto might not be the cakewalk that many fans and critics have predicted.

And some of them are still hoping the welterweight champion does not retire after Saturday night.

Mayweather insists the fight in Las Vegas will be his last but other leading welterweights would like to get the chance to dethrone the “pound-for-pound king”.

how many times have you got to say it! hes undefeated and undisputed, end of.
exciting fights during his career are many, manfredy, corrales, gatti, mitchell, judah, hatton, mosl ey,canelo etc but when you look at the what the idiots call boring fights for example: de la hoya or pacman we see more difficulty in winning because these fighters are genuine elite level so kos and knockdowns are rarely a sight (because its a proper game of minds in the ring) as hes too good and they are punch resistant to floyds not great power. however, he wins and people (the idiots) either expect him to ko an opponent or atleast knock him down and unfortunately for the "fight fans" its not always a happy sight but, if the boxing fans and people who study the sport watch a fight its a different story....example: ****m richardson said "its a pleasure to watch him perform this art so masterfully" following the guererro fight.
if your watching a fight for knockdowns and all then maybe boxing isnt your thing but be assured of one thing, boxing IS floyd mayweathers thing and hes the best there is at it and thats a FACT.
now, in the words of the great british actor Alan Ford......."fack off".

Soon as they get countered they start to understand why everyone who's faced Mayweather has had to second guess themselves and it's because as Mosley put it, Mayweather is a deceptive puncher.
