Given the latest news about Floyd; it make me think about Cotto.
Is it the Juice or is it due to Freddie Roach that he has gotten "better". Or is it just the right opponent at the right time.
Why must a fighter be taking steroids if he's doing well? Furthermore, the organizations that test for this gave Floyd a clean pass. He didn't do anything wrong. It's just pure speculation on your part.
Secondly, even if he was, you think that gives him some kind of magical advantage over everybody? And given how often the steroid accusations get thrown around on this forum, it would seem as though the majority of boxers are juicing. In which case, their magical steroid advantage is negated by the fact everybody is doing it.
People need to lay off this bandwagon steroid usage crap. A fighter makes a comeback, or KO's somebody now, and he's accused of cheating. It's ridiculous.
He's fighting with confidence. Letting his hands go. Killer combinations. Nothing ingenious. Just CONFIDENCE. Until he meets his match! Then we'll find out!
A combination of Freddie and the opponents. Freddie obviously is a more offensive trainer and against average and past prime opponents Cotto has looked much more flashy in his wins. If he still was with the defensive trainer he had in Diaz I'm sure Cotto beats all these guys but it doesn't look as exciting and people would be saying Cotto is not the same.
Right place at the right time. Fighting the middleweight lineal champion on his last leg literally and the fact that he has a fanbase so he can call the "shots" with Geale to weight drain him and blast him early. I don't buy this resurgence at all. It's merely a mirage and i think Canelo will blast Cotto in 9 to confirm my su****ions.
