If Provo lands one of the left hooks or over hand rights he landed on Bradley they better get a hoover up to the ring asap before someone gets serious lacerations on their feet.

Amir Khan has a sand castle for a chin do you dispute that?
Yea I do, in a way. Khan has a weird posture and at times is at the perfect angle for a crushing power shot on the chin. But Khan seems to be much much more cautious, almost too cautious. (I think his greatest strength always was overwhelming his opponent with his non stop offense) He tries to fight a safe fight now which plays into guys like Provo nicely because they are looking for that one shot. I just don't think Khan is going to give him an opportunity where Provo hurts and finishes him. If Khan is smart he is going to dish it out to Provo like Lucas. Khan's offense is pretty underrated, and although Provo has a granite chin I think he is going to look pretty rough. Khan also rebounds very well from getting rocked and has a huge heart. Stuff like that kind of outweighs the merit of his chin. Sure Broner might have a good chin but his competitive instincts give up way before his chin and legs do.

Its a dangerous fight, like you said nobody has an easy night against Pov

Even his fight with Lucas, at some points i thought Lucas was about to get dropped...that was a tough tough fight

but i fancy Khan to do the job...

Pov is one of the hardest hitting guys between 140 - 147

        jus sayin'
no, khan did not "want" to fight maidana. in fact, he was going thru hoola hoops to avoid him. the WBA had to step in and threaten to strip him if he didn't fight his mandatory. his own promoter richard schaefer said this.

khan has heart inside the ring but don't get it twisted, he's a biatch outside of it. he loves cherrypicking pillow punchers and fighters coming of losses/mediocre performances.

Also food for thought. Khan controls the fight almost entirely with a jab. I honestly think Provo's corner will throw in the towel if Khan is out to impress

            I think Khan's gonna win

It's sad but Provo must be shot to **** after taking so much punishment against Lucas

            Lucas ruins people.

Nobody is the same after fighting him (just ask Soto, Ajose or ****** Gift) and Provo took more bombs from Lucas than his latest 3 opponents combined.

Provo didn't take a step back in that fight, it was impressive, but crazy and it will cost him

I hope I'm wrong and Provo's not finished, though

Khan is an elite fighter despite popular belief andsnt about to get beaten by someone as limited as Provo. It takes alot more then just a good punch to beat Khan, ask Maidana. And for the record Garcia got lucky. This fight does nothing for me though. Of all people ****ing Provo? Khan is just shy of Floyd and Manny, he should have kept the momentum up and fought a real threat AT 147! Provo is a typical type of fighter who Khan should be able to handle
Khan is much more skilled, nobody is going to deny that, but he can't take a punch and has been fighting light to moderate punchers during his winning streak...not just light punchers, but guys are aren't really aggressive.

providnikov is a different breed. He is a savage beast who thinks like an actual warrior. Watch his faceoff with Alvarado and listen to his translated words. It's scary stuff. This guy is an animal and has the opposite mentality of someone like khan. I'm of the opinion that provodnikov can break khan. Refereeing will play a big part.

Provodnikov would kill Freddie if he dared to throw in the towel.

I will believe he is fighting Provo when I read it on boxing scene top headlines. Khan doesn't fight dangerous boxers anymore. He quit doing that after Garcia knocked him out over 3 years ago. Provo competes mainly as a 140 pounder. Khan might win some rounds but when Provo hurts Khan he will finish him.

Okay now I am starting to get sold on the fight haha. Just don't see a lot to be gained by Khan. There is no reason why he and Danny shouldn't be fighting

If Khan wins then I will give him his due respect. Provo is no joke and really shouldn't have losses on his record vs Algeiri and Bradley. No way Algeiri won 8 of the next 10 rounds after getting crushed in the second vs Prov. Prov is underrated big time, so what if he's a plodding donkey? It's about winning fights and dishing out pain sometimes.

Khan's career could be crushed in spectacular fashion here.
