I wish he'd hurry the **** up, come back, and scalp Danny Garcia already.

I don't begrudge him enjoying his newfound wealth, but I fear he may have already pissed away an even greater run at 147 by bloating his body and sitting out so long.

Unfortunate for Maidana that it landed right on the bell.
Floyd was still well aware of everything,it is amazing how he took that shot

Maidana had a very good career. He's been in a lot of wars. I respect his decision to take time off. He'll be back though. God gave that dude the gift of fighting... and the power of the punch... and courage to keep fighting when things get dark.

If that shot was a little more compact with more body in it, it would have done alot more damage. But I don't think Maidana is capable of a better shot, his technique is poor, sloppy and mainly arm. Perfect shot precision wise though.

Maidana is a faking warrior. He fought a roided freak in Floyd, whom was most likely juiced to the gills, for a total of 24 rounds and was never shaken. Marcos "Heart of a lion, balls of King Kong" Maidana.

The recent IV scandal maybe sheds some light on Floyds legs still being so fresh and him having better stamina to finish stronger than just about everyone even at this age.

Shame it was before the bell and didn't get to see just how hurt he was after taking that.

The fact he was still standing amazed me. Dude has a beard.
