I actually think you have that wrong. They aren't really arguing about the fight or anything attached to it. What they're doing is trying to protect their man feelings from realizing the fight is over and their god is little more than a hobgoblin. I bet a bunch of these cats are still (in their minds) in front of their television sets sweat and pooping.

This issue is their one way of saying "AH HA, PACQUIAO IS STILL INVINCIBLE!" I'm not sure but I think arguing, even if you're losing or have lost, makes one feel like they're doing something to change what can't be changed....
