I concur with the first part of your statement but I do not agree with "Floyd winning easily".

It may sound like sour g****s but like I said yesterday, this was a much closer fight than some have been saying here.

Again, check out round 3. At first Floyd fans laughed about that round 3 and said that Floyd won EASILY. There was a thread here where I analyzed and broke down the punches from both fighters. There was a FLoyd fan (Boogieman) that tried but failed to show that Floyd won EASILY. In fact, Manny clearly won that round but like some of the rounds, it was close but clear.

I used to write 8 - 4 rounds Floyd, but after re watching it, now I am leaning 9 - 3 PAC still losing. His best one dimensional fighting was exposed. Footwork.

But anything can happen in boxing. Floyd controlled the negotiations, the battle field, and PAC with his jumping up and down couldn't do what he needed to do to win.
Castillo & Maidana both did much better than PAC did.

if Manny made it close but clear, how would you rate what Castillo & Maidana did in their first fights with Floyd?

Castillo won and Maidana should have won because he should have got something like 5 of the first 6 rounds. ...... How do judges give Floyd 4 rounds in the first part of the fight is just crazy.

Like Marquez confirmed, .........Its hard to beat Floyd ....... in Nevada.

As for Manny, some things that he did in there were very good. Some things you only see after replaying it. Some requires , yes slow-mo. Some amazing things I captured with doing that. It may change how you saw the fight. Again, if the judges scored just 2 rounds differently it would have been a draw. Check out round 3 for starters.

The fight was fought as a slow pace. Mainly due to Floyd's hugging, head locking and so on but also Manny and Floyd's strategy was to fight a technical fight and wait for the openings.

I believe Castillo won too, Maidana was maybe a draw. Both did better than PAC.
Manny lacked the size to for Mayweather on the ropes. Bayless didn't give Manny a break.

I enjoyed Maidana 1, because Chino brought the right games plan. Make it a brawl and keep throwing punches. Weeks let Maidana & Floyd fight. Floyd fights best when he uses his boxing skills, and doesn't brawl.

Manny fights best when he fights guys who stand in front of him. Manny is. quick, in and out, angles etc. but Floyd is too skilled.

The best I can do in slow motion is 8 to 4 Floyd. Bayless in the way. Manny not good enough in the brawling game to man handle Floyd.

Castillo mauled & brawled Floyd, and I believe he won the first fight. He lost the rematch. But he did win the first fight.

Manny is not a mauler-brawler, so without landing a KO punch, against a great defensive master, PAC can't win. This is why no rematch is needed.

Floyd and his fans wanted to clean up the sport for 5 solid years. It was a good run! Too funny!

Loooool. Nobody was counting down any days because there's literally nothing in this. All we hear are the lamentations of pac fanboys.

So much pain. I am gonna have some people make Floyd Piņatas with an IV & TUE in hand and sell them to PAC fans. Hopefully beating an effigy of Floyd will give them some peace in these difficult times.
