Congress is involved right now. Congress has been looking into steroid abuse in boxing all year. NSAC just gave congress the ammo it needed.

That's incorrect. USADA also has the power to give TUEs because they are the official anti-doping agency in the US. It's just that NSAC wants to be the authority of that for professional fights in the State of Nevada. They want to be the ultimate judge/decider.

Just to keep people focused on the facts, again, these are the actual facts of behind Floyd's IV:

Here are the actual facts of the IV incident.

"The report suggested the solution had to be administered in a hospital setting because the amount used; 750 milliliters, or about three-fourths of a typical IV bag ; theoretically could serve as a masking agent. But WADA guidelines specify that the hospital requirement applies only the case if a temporary use exemption (TUE) isn't granted.

Mayweather had a United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) collection official summoned to his home to verify compliance before accepting the infusion, sources told MLive. He was drug tested before and after the IV was administered, with the USADA collector present. The TUE was granted retroactively, as allowed under WADA rules, on May 20, 18 days after the fight.

"Mr. Mayweather has done nothing wrong," Nevada State Athletic Commission chairman Bob Bennett told Showtime before the fight. "The Nevada State Athletic Commission has no interest in any type of investigation regarding his IV. He did not violate the WADA rules for any type of drugs and we have no issue."

The WADA came to his home and was present for the IV, the WADA gave their explicit go ahead.

Do people realize how easy it would be for a boxer to get an IV in their home without anyone knowing? Floyd could have done it late at night in his bedroom if he wanted to hide anything. Instead they called the WADA to ask permission and then had them come to the house to witness the IV administration. The TUE was asked for and granted after the fact as the rules state it can be.

Well, if that's the case, they need to have a clearer policy when it comes to who can provide TUEs in Nevada since USADA gave a TUE yet the NSAC director's saying only they have the sole authority to give a TUE within the state. Confusing as hell to fighters. USADA and NSAC need to clear this up amongst themselves.

Agreed. There's other things confusing too. For instance, USADA has the authority to give penalties for positive results (aka suspensions and bans). But NSAC wants to be the authority of that. They won't take too kindly to USADA deciding that.

Of course they do. If USADA takes over NSAC will be out of work.

And we are to believe USADA? The same agency that hid Morals positive tests for clenbutrol? Do you have any idea how dangerous clenbutrol is for athletes? It causes collagen to grow in the heart. I knew body builder back in the early 00s. Major fan of Clen. Dropped dead because his heart had lost its elasticity because of all the ****ing clen he had been taking.

They didn't hide anything. They sent the results to NYAC and the NYAC allowed the fight to happen.

BULL****! When the story first broke USADA told the media that the B sample hadn't been tested yet. Then it broke here in the scene that Morals A and B samples had tested positive on Oct. 3 and 10th. In short USADA was testing Morales until they got a negative test.

You cant trust USADA on anything. They lie through their teeth.

No, they told the commission Morales A sample was dirty but the B sample wouldn't be in till after the fight. Which was a lie, they had multiple dirty B samples at that point
