I'm tired of hearing this as soon as Floyd retires, the welterweights can finally fight each other notion. Sounds like a convenient excuse to me, especially when a lot of guys are under the same promotional banner and the fights can be made. Floyd fights once or twice a year, usually against big names or guys with buzz (barring the Berto fight), these guys didn't even attempt to put themselves in the position to be a lucrative match for Floyd which is why he chose an easy pick. Now they have to wait until old man Floyd retires to finally fight each other? Please...

Amen. As far as expectations go, BrookChavez is as good as its gets at WW. Sad but true. Are there better fights that can be made? Yes. Barring TR guys, theres no good reason the rest of the guys cant fight each other...will those fights happen? No.

Funny thing is Porter is probably a better opponent than anyone Floyd has fought outside of Vegas... Pffft... not even going to mention his own country... Floyd would never fight a Porter level fighter outside of his home country ever...
