Khan would've been a better pick than Berto, but a Khan fight would've been criticized because of his performance vs. Algeri. The best choice would've been GGG @ 154, or retirement after schooling Pacquiao. However, if Manny fights Khan, watch how he suddenly becomes a "BEAST" in everyone's eyes!

Berto is washed up, punch drunk, and has a HGH gut. He hasnt looked good in the ring in years, no matter who he faces, he looks like ****....win or lose, he always looks like ****...

He shouldnt be in the ring with anyone, for his own safety.

Khan is better than Maidana or Berto, no doubt - the 2 opponents other than Pac that May has fought past 2 years

I'm not a massive fan of this fight and don't think that either deserves a Mayweather fight but i'm glad it's Berto and not Khan. The way that Khan has over rated himself and his clueless fans have shouted about nothing is a disgrace and should not be the way future fighters think they are able to backdoor a payday and title shot.
anyone that thinks Berto is a better selection than Khan really knows nothing about boxing

Khan has fast hands and a young mans style that could win rounds against Floyd even though Floyd would get the decision. Berto is a damaged goods limited fighter that has not been the same puncher since tearing his shoulder. He won't win a round. Floyd would have been in a highly competitive fight with Khan even though he would likely win it. He'd have to be sharp and on point. He doesn't have to bring his A game to hang an L on Berto. Nice try Floyd. You might have confounded some casuals but the PPV will still suffer

Him and his team would of viewed Maidana as the easier fight. I don't think anyone expected Maidana to make it as competitive as he did.
Sugar Ray Robinson is the best ever!
Floyd is not the best ever! If Chavez would have stopped at 87 wins and zero losses, well my fellow fans, that would make him the best! But the best fought the best, and Floyd did. But we focus on a loss on someone's record too much. I think consecutive wins means more than not having a loss!
