Comments Thread For: Fury: I'll Be Best Brit Ever, I'll Beat Wlad, Wilder, Joshua

Tyson Fury says becoming the heavyweight world champion "will not be a fulfilment of a dream" and insists he is only interested in becoming the best fighter in British history.

Undefeated Fury faces the biggest test of his career to date on October 24 when he takes on IBF, WBO, IBO and WBA (Super) heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko at Esprit Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Ahead of his career-defining fight against Klitschko, Fury has declared he will retire from boxing if he fails to overcome the 39-year-old, whose last defeat came nearly 11 years ago against American Lamon Brewster.

Tyson fury is going to become the new marmite man of boxing when mayweather retires. I hope he pulls the upset so the wilder fight happens as a unification fight. Can't see wilder ever fighting klitschko

he never said klitschkos a shyt house. The only ones who can defeat fury are the psychologists who will probably tell him he's crazy and he will become a loser.

Its for all of Wlad belts. Not sure about the IBO, though its largely irrelevant anyway

Its a WBO (and WBA?) mandated fight though, i see why you are asking the question
