No, I dont condone hitting women but you make it sound like that's all the man is. You make it sound like the first thing you think when you hear his name is women beater. He has done alot of good things also. I dont think we should overlook the domestic stuff but people make mistakes. How do you know that he's not trying to change and furthemore how do you know that he's done that anyway. The woman always says it's not true in the end. Of course he probally has done something but alot of people make mistakes and Im definatly not going to mark him as a women beater for the rest of his life. This sport has alot of character problems in it. I guarantee you the guys you like have done something -

True nobody is perfect, but what good has he done outside of a boxing ring that would come to mind? Because I haven't heard of much more except the multiple times he's been arrested for the same damn thing. So explain to me how many times does it take for someone to be arrested and charged with domestic battery for you to label them a woman beater, ten, twenty, **** if he was a stand up guy looking to prove his innocence on any charges the first step that MUST be taken is to show up in ****ing court! **** even sending a lawyer only looks better than just being a noshow!Originally posted by DLTNo, I dont condone hitting women but you make it sound like that's all the man is. You say what good has he done outside the boxing ring like you know him or something. Every fan who meets him says that he's a great guy and he does alot of charity work. You know how it works when your famous, your not in the news for your personal life unless it's something bad. He was suppose to show up in court and plead guilty for in return he would not get in prison time but at the last second he changed his mind and didnt want to enter a plea yet. Why, I dont know but maybe it has something to do with his probation and that if he pleas guilty to something that means he will have violated probation on another charge and get in even more trouble. I think we need to hold back on these court things until we here the outcome because the fact of the matter is the guy has the best lawyers and you know he isnt doing anything there not telling him to doOriginally posted by jayschreTrue nobody is perfect, but what good has he done outside of a boxing ring that would come to mind? Your right I don't know him personally, and neither do you so you might want to consider his track record especially since you are going by what his fans say after meeting him in a controlled environment, and as far as his charity work as far as we know that could plain and simply be what he was ordered by a court to do you and I know it as "community service" but when you have alot of money they call it charity!
And as for his lawyers, Hell yes they are telling him to prolong this **** that way they can bilk him and the system for a ****load more money! Like I said you are correct I don't know him personally so I don't know for sure, but by looking at his track record alone he doesn't look like a very stand up guy to me!Comment

Im not just talkin about his fans, Im talkin about anyone who meets him including the media. He never talks to them but everytime he does they all say that he is a standup guy. As for that lawyer ****, that is for kids. No one who knows anything will let people milk them. I think it is not fair of you to just try to play Floyd for a fool. As for the charity, why would you try to put that on community service? Alot of atheletes do charity work.Originally posted by jayschreYour right I don't know him personally, and neither do you so you might want to consider his track record especially since you are going by what his fans say after meeting him in a controlled environment, and as far as his charity work as far as we know that could plain and simply be what he was ordered by a court to do you and I know it as "community service" but when you have alot of money they call it charity!

I guess the part where you said "every fan who meets him" is where I got that you were talking about his fans. And so we are clear I think you may be a little off in saying that anyone who meets him sys he's cool cause seeing as how he's got some assault charges pending that doesn't sound like someone else's idea of a fun time with a standup guy. You were half right when you said the part about the media, cause I've mostly heard that he doesn't talk to them, I do however like how you stated how "he never talks to them, but every time he does they say he's ok". lol!!Originally posted by DLTIm not just talkin about his fans, Im talkin about anyone who meets him including the media. Of course that's because when they do get to talk to him it's usually right after one of his fights and that's when he loves to talk about himself and how great he is.
And on the point of lawyers, I think you might want to get with the times cuse when you say stuff like "noone who knows anything would let them bilk them out of more money" is WAAAAAAYYYY off base! Dude are you even remotely aware of what a lwyer does, especially a high dollar defense attorney cause they are like Don King with a College Degree, instead of a flag to wave around!Comment

So basically you just live life thinking that others are dumb and whoever says or does something nice for you has a evil scheme behind it. Alot of those media guys have been following Floyd for years. Take Chico for example. Do you just call him a women beater and nothing else. Everyone says this is one of the nicest guys in the business and you can see that in his interviews. Some people just make mistakes man. Get over it. They dont deserved to be labled a women beater for the rest of there lives. Floyd has always been close to the streets and alot of the people in his family and friends come from the streets. When you are like that then you are going to get into some trouble but just because your a star it's always in the spotlight. White people always try to kill these black atheletes everytime they do something but most of them have came from the streets and dont want to turn there back on there friends just because they have made it and the white people dont understand nothing about that. They just look at them as black hoodlums and they hate the fact that they are so young and making millions so they tend to hate them and look down on them but you wont catch me doing that.Originally posted by jayschreI guess the part where you said "every fan who meets him" is where I got that you were talking about his fans. Dude don't give me that ****ing race card bull****, I don't give a **** what color he is and where he came from, that is the easy copout is to say "I'm from the streets so I don'y know any better." And for your info yes Chico did beat his wife's ass, but there is one glaring difference, and that is Chico did his time in prison on top of admiting his error. As opposed to Floyd chastizing what Chico did in interviews for all to see and hear, so not only is he a hypocrite that rigght there also makes him a super prick in my opinion! But you just keep on telling yourself whatever you have to too make you feel like a fine white citizen who's standing up for the people from the streets against "the man"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Comment

lol
lol...then he won't like Gatti because he should be fighting at welterweight, and even then he'd come into the rign at 160 lbs...lol.i dont think he likes the taste of true 140lbsers
Gatti is a cool cat and I hope he beats Mayweather, but I only give him about a 25% chance to do it, but that's more than enough.Comment
