No way he retires after Berto, but he will only fight 1 or 2 more fights after it.

Showtime & Mayweather are coming off of a crazy 9 figure deal & I suspect Espinoza would blow Mayweather to keep that going. At least a handjob I'm sure he'd be cool with.

I also think HBO would love to have the 2nd biggest PPV fight of all time all to themselves (as Mayweather vs Pacquiao II would be cuz HBO is the best at hyping **** & the first fight wasn't hyped as well as it could've been with the split HBO/Showtime nuttiness so I suspect there is some small chance it could even be #1) + Jim Lampley is humping his pillow at night to talk about some 50-0 beating Marciano **** I'm 100% sure & than maybe get Mayweather in there with Canelo or Cotto again.

I think breaking his own PPV revenue record twice during this 6 fight Showtime deal overlaps any poor number the Berto fight does & Showtime & HBO both would be willing to pay for whats next & that would be worth some crazy 9 figure number when fans seems excited for a Khan fight let alone the still bigger fights that could be made or the even bigger rematches out there.

boxingscene already reported that showtime wanted a 3 fight extension with Floyd.

im pretty sure it would have been over 9 figures too.

It's ok to hate Floyd but just accept the fact that he has found ways to make money for himself and profit for his partners, which is all that his business partners are concerned with.
Who would deny that? Anyone that doesn't acknowledge that is thick in the head

I think he really sounds as if he wants to retire. I think the punches he took from Pac scared him and Pac really hurt him. But I don't think he should retire even though he has done enough in his career to make him a top 30ATG.

He should maybe rematch Pac, fight outside his country and take a risk. Fighting for the middleweight title maybe....if GGG is too scary for him wait a while while a weak champion comes along. Its worked well for BH. It works well for lions in the masai mara as well, when they pick out weakness in the herd.
