Calzaghe? Like Lennox, he was past his prime, but still at the top.

Floyd will want to retire before Pacquiao's shoulder is healed from that major surgery for that severe injury he suffered in his so-called "loss" to Mayweather. Fraud knows that Manny really won that fight and did it with one arm. Fraud knows a rematch will be demanded, and he would be fighting a healthy Pac.

The definition of a hater insures few if any give credit to whoever is the object of their hate. Thats the whole hater game.

I hope Mayweather retires for good & the more I hear him talk lately I think this will be a legit retirement as I think Mayweather probably has legit fears about being a 40ish fighter & that potentially damaging or putting dents in his legacy like guys like RJJ, Holyfield & Mosley (among soooooo many others) have done to their own legacies.

As a fan of Mayweather since his amateur days I still gotta admit going out vs Berto is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. And while I kinda understand ("he's earned the right to go out how he wants to go out"), I kinda don't ("the best fighter of his era shouldn't go out as undefeated & with a cushy opponent", if he had lost a couple & just wanted a victory lap fight ala Chavez or like Marquez might be doing okay fair enough, but when you are on top there is higher degree of opposition that needs to be maintained imo) cuz Mayweather was never halfstepping vs fighting the top guys no matter what the revisionist historians say, but Berto is a halfstepping opponent.

What I will always hate is his cherry picking Vulture ways waiting on a fighter to get the **** beat outa him the choose him and fraud the public.

Very smart! Don't end up like Manny: face down and ass up! You made more since leaving Arum than most boxers have made in their entire careers! Time to go bruh! ONE!

                    Nope.

Remember when he signed the 6 fight deal with Showtime? The haters all said "no way" would he fight 6 times in 3 years, well, here we are 5 says from his 6th fight in 3 years with Showtime.

If there's one thing we know for sure, no matter who Mayweather fights or what he does, there's a fringe group of boxing fans that will either want more or tear down what he has done.

They said he'd never accept the challenge from Hatton, from Marquez, from Mosely, from Canelo, from Pacquiao, etc etc. When he did and beat all of those guys the haters still hated and said, yeah, well, what about the next guy? If he fought Golovkin at a full 160 sand beat him, not a single hater would give him an y credit, they'd simply want him to fight Ward or Kovalev.

Floyd has known this for a long time, there will always be a next fighter to fight, you can't pay attention to that in the end, you leave the sport not based on who is left to fight, but on your own terms.
