Comments Thread For: Buglioni: If Groves Jumps on Him, He'll KO Jack Early

GEORGE GROVES can expect some unlikely support this weekend.

The 27-year-old faces WBC super-middleweight champion Badou Jack on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather's farewell fight with Andre Berto in Las Vegas.

And British rival Frank Buglioni will be cheering him on as he eyes a Stamford Bridge clash with his fellow Chelsea supporter.

Buglioni has his own world title fight on September 26 against Fedor Chudinov with a version of the WBA belt on the line.

Then the 26-year-old is hoping for an British unification fight down at the home of the Premier League champions.

"You could end up having four British world champions in the same division - how good would that be" says Buglioni. Even the possibility of such a situation highlights why so many people, outside of us hardcore fans, think present day boxing is a joke.

Groves would do better with taking his time, treat it like a 12 round fight and if a KO comes then that's that.
