This fight doesn't last long. Cotto wouldn't even have time to take a knee.

The only way Cotto would win is by DQ in the same fashion that Montell Griffin was awarded a victory over Roy Jones Jr.

Cotto is 100x's the man Hagler is and look what Marvin did to Tommy. Cotto wins by KO during the face off.

You'd be hard pressed to find any welterweights from the last 20/30 years who could possibly beat Hearns.

DLH, Tito, The Punisher and maybe a prime Margarito stood the best chances.

Both Oscar and Tito because they were big, with respectable power and the skill necessary to give Hearns problems.

The Punisher and Margarito due to size, chin, stamina, workrate and heart. If Hearns didn't put them out early, it'd be rough to keep them off him.

Hearns by early KO. Cotto is good, Tommy is great. Cotto would have a chance, but Tommy was deadly in the first 3 rounds, Cotto would have to fight him off just to survive the early KO.
Tommy was a beast before the Hagler KO, hard to see Tommy losing to Cotto. They didn't call him the Hit Man for nothing, Tommy fought all the way up to Cruiser and still had one punch KO power. If I could bet on it, I would bet the farm on Tommy.

Hagler turns Cotto into dust at the opening bell. Hearns turns Cotto into a ****** like how Tony Thompson did Frank Maloney

Hearns stops this Diva in every weightclass from 147-160.
If you think Cotto would get absolutely destroyed then why even make a thread about it? Why even make the comparison if you think Cotto is so damn trash? Obviously they shouldn't even be in the ring together.

If only Leonard didn't exist at 147 for Hearns lol.

Hearns is a favorite in physical advantages in practically any fantasy fight at Welterweight.
