      I could say basketball players because they use fast twitch and slow twich muscles more overall. But on the other hand fighters have a different kind of fit because they have to take bodily trauma while exerting all of their physical abilities to the max at the same time. I'd say combat sport athletes are on a level of their own.

          I've seen pro boxers who were not in the best shape compete and be successful at the elite level, for example James Toney or Roberto Duran, but I've never seen a professional basketball player compete and be successful at the elite level who was not a supreme example of fitness himself.

          So I have to go with basketball player.

            I've seen pro basketball players who were not in the best shape compete and be successful at the elite level, for example Dennis Rodman or Magic Johnson, but I've never seen a professional Boxers compete and be successful at the elite level who was not a supreme example of fitness himself.

                members of team sports can hide behind their teammates and look far better or worse than they actually are, you can't compare them to top boxers whose every twitch is analyzed for years
