Juergen Braehmer retained his WBA light-heavyweight title with a stoppage victory over fellow German Konni Konrad.
Konrad looked out of his depth, and was sent staggering back against the ropes in the first round. Braehmer floored him in the sixth with a counterpunch, though Konrad survived the count before quitting with an eye problem in his corner before the start of the eighth.
"I could hardly see out my left eye from the sixth round," Konrad said. "Health is the most important thing."
