Either I'm blind or you just watched the Floyd Gatti fight and thought that was Manny. All kidding aside, Floyd is the best ever defensive boxer no doubt. He didn't beat Manny, he received a decision based on defense and ring generalship. He is so gifted and skilled he dictated the action and pace of the fight and he bored the world. You think that's kicking someone ass so that's your perogative.

You are thrilled by the likes of Calzaghe, Jimmy Ellis, Willie Pep, Whitaker, Chris Byrd, or Floyd Mayweather. I prefer Ali, Hagler, Hearns,SSR, SSL, Holyfield, Joe Louis. These legends boxed and they closed the show. Floyd is an all time great and a boxing master. I simply have never had any thrills watching his fights. He never closed the show. I personally would never brag about myself if I never put guys away decisively.

Floyd is the smartest. He made the most money and never got hurt. Kudos to him.

Thatll ne so cool if Pac dropped Arum and signed with somebody or fought exclusively under Pac promos. With Pac global appeal he couldve been so much bigger than he is and he couldve capitolized ob his own brand...but Bob did and he makes more money on Pac than Pac himself, i guarantee that.
Yea definitely sounding like Arum & Pacquiao are having a lot of differing opinions lately in the media. Woulda been nicer for Pacquiao to jump ship earlier. Believe he's still contracted to Arum til the end of 2016 anyway so idk what he can do til then even if he wanted to look for a greener pasture.

i think that trying to "feed" pacquiao to crawford could backfire horribly for arum. i'd love to see that happen

Yea I'd love to see that.

Hate to see Arum raping fighters with impunity.

Pac needs to go the Cotto way.

              This ^^

Pac's form, and willingness to continue, are his problem.

I dont know if Manny can beat every welter not named Mayweather, at this stage I doubt it..... but he certainly has the right to try imho.

And its the same situation with Mayweather.

If either of them want to continue, good for them.

I am not interested in lower-tier fights, such as Berto/Rios/Algieri/etc.....
..... but if Pac wants to fight the top welters I will support him.

But I would love for Pac to leave Top Rank, it would make my day.

Manny deserves better than Bob Arum, he should be going it alone.

                wtf

Like knowledgable posters stated a few months back, Pac obviously did not have surgery on a torn rotator cuff. looks like it was just a scope.

That has been happening since 2008.

Arum still a little pissed becuz PAC's hotel meeting with Floyd without him or roach to make that fight not happen.Arum hates Floyd and never wanted to give him that priviledge nor payday. But pac needed monies after 40m IRS bill that Arum left him with. Looks like Floyd schooled PAC in more ways than just in the ring.
