this is just one of many basketball players that train boxing to increase their performance. Google the rest . Educate yourself. Instead of getting me to teach you everything. Think before you type.

Iguodala is a fairly well-rounded player. At 6***8217;6 and a little over 200 pounds he has taken up boxing as a mean to stay in peak shape and diversify his training. I was pleased when I first met Iguodala earlier this fall. He was up for anything. He was honest that he needed help with his flexibility and was open to more than just boxing. He wanted to do a lot of the balance drills which I have routinely used with my athletes to help with overall joint stability which in the long term prevents injuries.

Exactly. The funny thing is most of the posters making the "one armed fighter" excuse ridicule Berto for that loss. Funny how a serious injury is irrelevant in that situation.

There's a difference between getting a relatively simple scope and getting a surgery for a similarly severe injury (which has put the paralleled athlete out of commission for nearly a year).

Rather than admitting that he **** the bed with his performance against Mayweather, Team Pacquiao thought the better course of action was to try and elevate, what was likely, a simple shoulder scope into an utterly debilitating shoulder injury (to try and explain away the entire lack of effectiveness). If you're going to try and sell it as "the Kobe Bryant injury", at least go through the motions; surgery in May, pictures of the X-ray and photos in the post surgery room, name a therapist overseeing things in PI, etc.

Saddest part about the whole thing though, imo, is seeing folks trying to seemingly earnestly continue on with the bull**** story, defending it as gospel, lol.

Yes he is. You don't need your off hand very much playing basketball. Guys have played in the NBA with dislocated shoulders.

So its not clear what the OPs point is.
