Comments Thread For: Bellew To Face Hernandez-Ramirez Winner, Says Hearn

Tony Bellew has pined for a cruiserweight title shot from the moment he moved up in weight. The former light heavyweight contender racked up his fifth consecutive win following a 5th round knockout of Arturs Kulikauskis in preliminary action Saturday evening in Leeds, England.

Among his current win streak includes a revenge-fueled decision win over Nathan Cleverly last November. The split decision nod avenged his first career defeat, when Bellew fell just short of bumping off a then-unbeaten Cleverly in their Oct. ’11 light heavyweight title fight.

Like to see the IBF make Chakhkiev vs Bellew title eliminator, providing Chak beats Afolabi

Well Hearn will flaunt that money, so they'll try and go in as a voluntary.... no way they fight Chak... they want that direct shot

Bellew isn't ranked as high in the IBF as I thought. He is #7.
His best bet for a title shot straight away would be against Glowacki, imo.
Glowacki and Hearn both work for Al Haymon and Bellew is WBO top 3.
Maybe he will change his mind again if Ramirez beats YPH lol.

I don't know how much Ramirez makes..... or even Hernandez... but I think Hearn can muster up some money for them to take a Bellew voluntary.

Honestly, all the CW champs are bad news for Bellew...unless you count Shumenov

            Could be Shumenov lol.
He's another Haymon guy and he's in no hurry to fight Lebedev.
