I think it's a very good matchup.

It will be an IBF final eliminator, the winner will be Kovalev's mandatory.

Kovalev-Barrera would be an easy fight to make, but Kovalev-Beterbiev would be complicated because Al Haymon manages Beterbiev.

I'm not recalling a Barrera fight that I've seen (keep meaning to look up some of his fight, but haven't yet), but I'm a big Beterbiev fan & think he can KO anyone he can touch in the division with his power including those other two guys that get all the attention right now.

I want to see Beterbiev win this fight so Beterbiev-Kovalev goes to a purse bid. It will be interesting to see if Kovalev pulls out and gives up his IBF belt. Duva has already cost Kovalev the Stevenson fight, it will be funny to see how long this train chugs.

For the record, Kovalev is the goods, he stops everyone at LHW except Andre Ward. It will be interesting to see if Kovalev will let Duva ride him off the rails.
