Comments Thread For: Julius Jackson-Jose Uzcategui IBF Eliminator - PBC, 10/6

Julius Jackson will make his long-awaited debut on the Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) circuit, as the unbeaten super middleweight faces Jose Uzcategui on the October 6 installment of Fox Sports 1's 'PBC on Fox: Toe-to-Toe' series.

A venue has yet to be announced for the show, though likely to land in Las Vegas or elsewhere on the U.S. West Coast as part of an elimination series to establish a mandatory challenger for super middleweight champ James DeGale. The latest addition to the growing PBC schedule gives the Tueday night Fox Sports 1 series six consecutive weeks beginning with its September 8 debut in Hollywood, California.

Just did a quick count, 16 shows scheduled between September and October. And pretty sure at least two more for October will be announced.

              Thank you Al Haymon.

Not a bad fight at all, good step up for Jackson. Haymon just has to be consistent in giving the fans good solid cards. At times, I applaud him and at times I shake my head; hate/love relationship. Nonetheless, he has put on great cards and PBC is still fairly new. Put on great fights, remain consistent, and the fans will start piling up!

He's ranked #7 in IBF. Jackson (#5) was supposed to face Porky Medina (#4) for IBF but that was scratched. Not sure why, possibly for his own eliminator and spots 1 & 2 are unranked.
