The jab jab right hand combo?

I read an article that says this is almost the best combination to throw because it's so versatile. Discuss

It is when done right as it blinds you and moves you right in line to a perfect right hand. It is a nice basic combo but i can not say its "THE BEST"

That's every novice guys bread n butter

Even on the elite level it works great when you varying your jab, thrown from the shoulder it blinds from the hip it lifts the opponents head up....all to line up the right hand

      My favorite combo

Don't necessarily agree that it is a good combination to throw. My reasoning being that a 1-2 does the trick. I think 1-2 is the most beautiful and effective combo thrown, when done properly. Not a lot of guys get used to throwing a proper and clean 1-2. The 1-1-2 only delays the effective punch in that combo, which is the straight right, if orthodox. The jab is used to set up the shot, distract the opponent. So, you're giving you're opponent more time to react with the 2 jabs thrown. Unless, you're really throwing your jab out there a lot, like peppering with it, and then shoot the right out of nowhere...I'm okay with that. But, if it's a continuous combo, in sequence, I would say stick to 1-2. I guess it depends, Pacquiao does the feint thing with the 1-1-2 combo, which worked for him with many opponents. Then it got predictable and.....

It's good if you need to close a gap. But I'd say the 1,2works better I also like the 2,3 and the jab to the head hook to the body.

The 1-2 really works if your last name is Klitschko

I wouldn't say there is a best combo, but damn if it isn't close. It's super versatile. I'm a longer armed guy and survive off of variations of this(And the uppercut when they come in). and the basic 1-2.

You can throw it moving to any direction, jab to the body, jab upstairs, drop the right upstairs... jab upstairs, jab to the body, right hand upstairs... 2 jabs upstairs to bring the guard up, quick right hand to the solar plexus... 1 jab upstairs, quick feint to the body, right hand over the top... stutter-step, jab downstairs, right hand upstairs, etc, etc...

When they start getting used to it, rock their world and start leading with 2 occasionally...

Pacman is proof enough to how effective this can be and he's not even a particularly strong jabber.
