    Is Cotto Really That Small?

I am watching some early Cotto fights and this guy at 140-147 rehydrated to 160 at 154 i really doubt he only rehydrates to 160. This men must be in the 165-166 range. He is not as small as people make him out to be.

People say Canelo will be too big and too strong but this Cotto is a big strong compact 154 pounder. I doubt the weight will be any different on fight night. There is a reason Cotto camp dont let people see his fight night weight anymore. He must be putting on a lot of weight and they want to fool people in to thinking he is small?

He seems to be doing good at 154. I think at 160 he is too small but at 154 he is just fine.

Cotto is pretty short. I met him twice, one at Shannon's Pub the week after he lost to Margarito. Second time was when he was at a press conference for winning an award at the Marriott hotel. He is around 5'7"

He's been weighing up to mid 160s for a while now before the fight.

He's smaller than your average MW (where they rehydrate to probably high 160s or 170s) but he's not small at all for the division itself. GGG has like 6-8 pounds on him come fight night probably.

                  For a middleweight? Yes..
He even looked small at 154 vs Trout and the one legged ***ish guy he won the title against at 154. Martinez was a smallish middle and he was still much bigger then Cotto.

He beat a Cotto trained by Pedro diaz who had him boxing from the outside against a boxer like trout plus he was burned out from fighting in big bear.
